My name is Marissa Ysaguirre. I was born and raised  in Los Angeles, California. I am of Caribbean descent. From the age of 11 years old I was formally trained in fine arts. I studied and graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). I have worked in the television industry for six years as an Assistant Wardrobe Stylist and Costumer. I have specialized in working in commercials, television and print ads. In addition to my education and work experience, I am a single mother to a 7 year old boy. I decided to create this blog as a creative outlet to share with anyone who is interested in art, fashion, food, motherhood and life.
